A solar panel is a device that changes light energy directly to electrical energy. this proses is called the photovoltaic effect. the madurne day solar cell was invented by Daryl Chapin, Calvin Fuller, and Gerald Pearson in 1959.

this week i will get the meaterle's i need to do my hands on part (I could not get to the store last week): 

1. a relay 

2. small soar panel 

3. generator (or moter, they are the same except for the name on the box they come in)
